Overview

Continuous Improvement ensures that Nissan North America’s (NNA) data governance framework evolves and matures over time.
By systematically reviewing processes, incorporating feedback, and leveraging metrics, NNA can enhance data quality, compliance, adoption, and operational efficiency.


Purpose

  • Establish a structured approach for governance process optimization.
  • Incorporate feedback from users, stewards, and stakeholders.
  • Track performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure sustainability, adaptability, and increasing governance maturity.

Key Principles

  1. Feedback Loops: Gather input from data users, owners, stewards, and executives.
  2. Metrics-Driven: Use KPIs from data quality, adoption, and MDM processes to guide improvements.
  3. Agility: Adjust processes, policies, and tools based on lessons learned and changing requirements.
  4. Standardization & Best Practices: Implement improvements consistently across domains and regions.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate changes effectively and involve impacted roles in improvement initiatives.
